Welcome to Energy Timing
Most sources of renewable energy are unpredictably intermittent, yet they have seasonal (month to month) and diurnal (hour to hour) patterns. This site contains tools that assist electric utilities, wind developers, and transmission planners to identify the optimal basket of various kinds and locations of renewable energy to match a specified pattern of electricity demand.
This project is partially funded by the National Science Foundation and conducted by the Analytics Team at Equilibrium Power, with invaluable assistance from the University of Wyoming.
